November 5 will be Remembrance Sunday at St. Andrew’s Hespeler in 2017. This is always a very important and meaningful service as we take time to remember those who have served our country in the military, many of whom have been killed are wounded in mind or body down through the years.  This year, our worship will be made extra meaningful in a number of ways:

  •  Our new Women’s Ensemble will be singing to God’s glory for the very first time. This group will highlight the excellence of our Women’s voices and specialize in music from the Folk genre. They will sing “Spirit, Open my Heart” to the tune of a traditional Irish Folk Melody.
  • Our Adult Choir will sing, “There Is Room for All.”
  • Our minister, W. Scott McAndless, will be preaching on the challenge of finding peace in the modern world with a message called, “Peace, peace, when there is no peace,” (a phrase borrowed from Jeremiah 6.)
  • And one big bonus for the day: you will set back your clocks on Saturday night so that you can have an extra hour’s sleep the night before!
